The Maine Pharmacy Association is soliciting our membership-at-large for officer nominations (Treasurer) and achievement awards (Pharmacist Mutual Distinguished Young Pharmacist Award, APhA/NASPA Bowl of Hygeia Award, Upsher-Smith  Excellence in Innovation Award, and the Cardinal Health Generation Rx Champions Award. The details of the awards are included here.

Last year’s recipient of the Distinguished Young Pharmacists Award and Cardinal Health Generation Rx Champions Award were Amelia Arnold of Community Pharmacies and John Murray of the Medical Professionals Health Program, respectively.  Recent past recipients of the Bowl of Hygeia award include Joe Bruno, Bob Nutting, and Doug Kay.  

   The deadline for nominations will be July 11th in order for us to have time to prepare the awards for the Fall Convention.   MPA is also soliciting members for participation on five ad hoc committees (Convention, Legislative, Education, Membership, and Awards) to serve the association and our membership.  If you are interested in making nominations or joining a committee please email the office at mparxinfo@gmail.com
